I enjoy painting simple ideas, and a small bouquet of yellow roses can hold different meanings for different people. This printable greeting card features an original watercolour painted in 2024 while I was exploring flowers as a subject.

Yellow roses can symbolize friendship, warmth, optimism and new beginnings. Send this yellow rose greeting card as a thank-you, a message of encouragement or simply to brighten someone’s day. The flowers have a simple, slightly nostalgic style with plenty of warmth.

Created from an original watercolour by Canadian artist Dawn McNaught, this digital card is supplied as a PDF file. It includes printing instructions and a printable card template with trim and fold lines. The finished card measures 5" × 7" and fits a standard 5" × 7" envelope. The inside is blank for your own message.

Printing:

Print the PDF at 100% or Actual Size. Do not select “Fit to Page” or “Shrink to Fit”, as this may change the size of
Trim the card along the crop marks, then fold in half to create your finished card.

For heavier cardstock, you may wish to lightly score the fold before folding for a cleaner crease.

Paper:
For the best result, I recommend 80–100 lb cover cardstock. A 100 lb cover stock is approximately 270 gsm and
gives the card a substantial, finished feel. However, not all home printers can accommodate heavier cardstock, so
please check your printer's specifications before printing.
