A loose watercolour of a rider and horse meandering through tall grass, travelling at their own unhurried pace. There is no race to finish and nowhere they need to be. They are simply enjoying the ride and allowing the path to unfold before them.

Unlike A Slow Dance, which captures a rider pausing to admire the changing countryside, this painting is about the pleasure of wandering. Sometimes the pace matters more than the destination.

I always have a story to tell with horses, and the looseness of watercolour allows these quiet moments between horse, rider and landscape to come through.
