A Slow Dance: Printable Horse Greeting Card

A loose and expressive watercolour of a rider and horse taking a slow ride through the countryside. The rider is admiring the scenery and is in no particular hurry, while the horse seems just as content to take its time. Around them, the landscape begins to change colour with the season.

Sometimes, a slower pace is exactly what we need.

I always seem to have a story to tell when I paint horses. The looseness of watercolour allows those quiet moments and small connections to come through. My love of horses also comes from the two summers I spent working as a groom at Windfields Farm between classes, a brief but memorable part of my life.

This seasonal card can be used at Christmas, sent as a thoughtful reminder to slow down, or shared with a horse or equine lover at any time of year.
