Dawn McNaught - Message from the Artist

Spring is definitely showing her signs in the landscape. Receding snow is revealing tufts of green grass as the melt gives way to new beginnings. That feeling for starting again is reflective of where I am moving too.

I am moving toward a more digital format to make my work easier to access and share. The PDFs and downloadable images have been well received, though I am working on improving the flow of the website.

More of my recipes are being developed into focused PDF downloads, including sourdough and technique-based recipe cards. These are part of a larger body of work I’m building and refining, with select pieces available now at a $1 trial.

My artwork is also evolving in this direction. I’ll be releasing digital poster formats for broader distribution, while some existing and digital works will be retired as I refine the collection or pieces find their new homes.

On the writing side, I’ve received positive initial feedback on Climate Collateral and will continue revisions. My children’s stories are still in progress with the only bottleneck being my ability to work on one item at a time. =)

I’m building this as I go — refining, editing, and releasing the work in stages.
